| TELE-SALES REPRESENTATIVE – MINNEAPOLIS |

| This position is responsible for calling, recruiting, training and supporting IHC’s contracted producers on behalf of our General Agents as directed by the Vice President, to distribute profitable short term health insurance, dental insurance, discount prescription drug program, overseas travel medical, and any other programs introduced and offered by the Company with an emphasis on achieving our stated sales goals. This position also is responsible for coordinating all phases of sales, special projects and phone coverage. |
| The successful candidate must have a High school diploma or GED; Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience; 2+ years experience in a Sales and Marketing environment; previous experience in a health insurance environment, working with and presenting a variety of plan types and insurance products. Knowledge of IHC products preferred; understanding of individual health plans, short-term medical plans and ancillary benefits a plus; telephone sales or outbound call center experience; comfortable on telephone - excellent professional telephone skills and etiquette; strong customer service and people skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills; strong PC skills, using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and presentation software; excellent project management and organization skills; experience working in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities and projects; MN Health and/or Life, Health License a plus. If hired, attainment of MN Health License is required. |

| The position will work with the development team in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining the various business development projects including the web site, web applications, quoting tools, system services, business objects, desktop applications and any other development projects as assigned by the business units or Sr. Management. |
| A strong working knowledge of C# 1.1 – 4.x, ASP.Net, xhtml, css, javascript, DOM, Ajax, XML (Cold Fusion for legacy projects that have not been phased out or converted), PDF Document Automation and other mainstream technologies; basic skills using Photoshop to manipulate/optimize graphics for use on the web or within applications; excellent communication skills; ability to work well in a team environment; ability to work with very little supervision; and the desire to learn about the technologies, methodologies and continue to expand skills and knowledge. Education and/or experience required is a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or 2 + years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
